Amendments to the Rules of the Supreme Court of Canada
The Supreme Court Act and the Rules of the Supreme Court of Canada (the Rules) govern Supreme Court of Canada proceedings.
The Rules are made by the judges of the Supreme Court of Canada. Once signed by the judges, the Rules or amendments to the Rules are published in Part II of the Canada Gazette, and are tabled in the House of Commons and the Senate.
